The game is still doing fine. The amount of actively connected players has declined over time and will keep declining as long as no major new content is released. But that does not mean that GW is dead. There continues to be a healthy flow of new players and many existing players continue to be active for PvP, titles or replaying the game with a second (third ...) char.
